Sclerotherapy Application in the Treatment of Hemorrhoidal Disease

The treatment of hemorrhoidal disease is based on the principle of minimizing hemorrhoidal packets by injecting certain chemicals called sclerogenic substances with appropriate anatomical localization and appropriate depth, tissue damage and subsequent hard scar tissue and fixing the hemorrhoidal packet to the posterior wall. Like all interventions in the anal area, sclerotherapy treatment requires experience. With incorrect application methods, the risks of anal area muscle damage and related incontinence, disruption of nutrition of the tissue called necrosis, serious pain and allergic reactions should be taken into consideration.
